It's been long known that many transgendered / crossdreamers really enjoy video games as a tool to immerse themselves into a female character. My earliest experience was probably playing chun-li on street fighter. More recently (maybe 3 years ago) I really enjoyed creating a female character in GTA 5 and playing online as a "female", and enjoying making my somewhat realistic character move around. Ever since VR has made a comeback I've been waiting for someone to make that female experience now that the graphics are good and the input is better. Well about a month ago Valve surprised everyone with a VR version of Half life, and instead of the male character you usually play, you now play as the female sidekick Alyx. I love this on so many levels, the fact that you're now a strong female role, the fact that the graphics are really good so even though the hands are mostly covered (by really cool electronics), they are undoubtedly female fingers. My only hope is that someone makes a mod to make her nails longer. Anyway, the minimum specs are pretty steep, but I plan on upgrading my computer soon so I'm ready when it comes out in March.
