ASMR

It stands for Autonomous sensory meridian response.  It's typically a mundane and repeating (and often very quiet) sound.

I read a gizmodo article on it, and it featured this video of a woman playing with some sort of fluffy playdoh, which eventually turns into a bubbling video when she adds vinegar.  Both the whispering and the liquid bubbling is pretty soothing (as well as her whispering voice)

Which in of itself is interesting, but also at about 7 minutes in she begins brushing the camera with a makeup brush.. Which if you use your imagination can become a VR makeup experience.  It's a shame it isn't a true split lens video you can use google cardboard with so it really feels real.
