twentieth century motor car - dale

So I was watching jay leno's garage, and this story came up about a car company in the mid 70's boasting 70mpg with 3 wheels.  It was pretty ugly even by 70's standards.  It also borrowed the headlights and taillights from the firebird.  Anyway, the interesting thing is the CEO was a "female", but in reality was a transgender woman who got caught with counterfeiting fraud earlier, and was now taking pre-order money on a car that barely worked.  She even made up a story that she was a widow of a former NASA engineer.
