changing into a girl journal

Every fantasy always describes how the body changes, how they're feeling, etc.  One thing I don't think that has really been explored is handwriting.  We don't think about this much because often this can be fairly androgynous.  I remember in school there was one girl that had super feminine handwriting.  So much so that she'd often use pink or purple ink even though the teachers insisted on using black or blue ink.  So I thought what if someone kept a journal and talked about how they're freaking out, but at the same time their handwriting begins to change?

Adele - SNL calms down thanksgiving guests

This was quite an enjoyable skit.  It's making the joke that everyone loves Adele, and it's all you need to calm a family down talking about hot issue topics.  But they go one further and slowly transform everyone at the table into Adele in her Hello video, even the guys.

TED talk: drag

I have to give (S)heplacements for posting this video:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VbeovM4RCh4

Ted talks in general are wonderful to listen to.  A nice short 10-20 minute speech that's very well written, and can be a topic about almost anything (but is always inciteful).  It's mostly about how we all dress up as people we aren't really (but are trying to impress others).  Also talks about how those of us in the closet are really living a lie.  To some degree I agree with that, but the desires vary greatly.  There is always a risk / reward to all choices in life.  She's really brave at the end, taking off her dress, wig, and makeup on stage.

I also found this gem:

It's similar thinking, but focusing on making drag more fluent and more normal.  Specifically, it talks about an event in the UK called "sink in the pink" which is a party for the LGBT group, but it also tries to mix in non LGBT people to get those that are on the fence to cross over (even helping some of them to dress up in drag if they desire).

TG news break

So you've probably seen this story float around.  Boy with 2 dads dresses up as Cruella De Vil.  Of course some are saying this is wrong, while others completely support it.  I say if a kid is having fun dressing up as a "character", what does it matter what gender it is.  Heck, go visit any comicon and see how many gender bending people attend that.

And then we have this story that hits very close to home.  So I guess a transgender high school student wants to use the female bathrooms, fine no problem.  Then she wants to shower in the girl's gym locker room, understandable.  They setup a curtain for her, and that isn't good enough, and I see both sides to this.  I see her point, not wanting the attention of "oh look, the transgender girl gets her own private shower", and then I see the side of the other female students not wanting to shower with a "technically by genitals" boy, even though there probably aren't much of male genitalia left if she's been on hormones a while.  If there's any concern about sex going on, how is that any different than a lesbian girl showering with the other girls?  Quite frankly, I found the whole "shower naked with other students" in high school to be disturbing and shocking.  I think all showers should be walled off so each student can shower privately.  The idea of group showers and being treated no better than prisoners is quite frankly stupid.  I had weight issues, a tiny penis, and felt extremely uncomfortable showering.  Almost as bad was swimming class because it meant wearing extremely small bathing pants, and I found myself sitting with my arms crossed to cover my fat boy tits.

youtubable gender pranks

So I stumbled on this youtube channel today.  He's got a lot of videos on call of duty where he pretends to be a girl, even teasing the guys sexually.  I don't really like this sort of prank, especially when they accuse the guy they just teased of being a homo for being tricked into thinking he was a girl.  He does however do some chat roulette videos where he gets positive reactions, and he isn't mean about it when he reveals he's really a guy.  This is one of the more recent ones:

Then he also does this video where he starts off as a guy, then pretends he's really a girl transitioning into a guy:

More than anything, I guess I just love to hear how well some people can bend the gender of their voice.  This guy can do it very fluidly, like mid sentence.
